From Paper to Nature – How to Make Seed Paper?
November 15 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Did you know? The amount of paper we throw away each year is enough to heat fifty million homes for 20 years! That is about one billion trees we throw away (usi.edu, 2018). You can help by making your own plantable paper out of seeds and paper waste. You can plant these sheets anywhere in your yard and have your very own beautiful flower garden! Hosted by the Institute of Urban Ecology at Douglas College, join us in Room C1008 for a workshop on how to make seed paper.
For more updates, follow our Facebook Page at Institute of Urban Ecology.
Note: This is a family friendly event. Children are welcome provided they have at least one guardian with them.
We can be found at Douglas College, David Lam Campus which is one block away from the Lafarge Lake-Douglas Skytrain station. Just take a right on Pinetree Way and head towards the campus. This workshop is located in Room C1008 which is on the West side of the Campus in the lower building.
