Celebrate the Solstice!

Hi everyone!
Join IUE – the Institute of Urban Ecology at Douglas College in the Sol Garden – at a free workshop where you’ll learn about the ecology of native BC plants and their indigenous uses by Aboriginal peoples. This workshop will feature our guest speaker, Lori Snyder, a renowned Aboriginal herbalist. We will also be celebrating National Aboriginal Day 2018!
This event is family friendly, so everyone is welcome!

Where? Douglas College, 1250 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam, BC V3B 7X3
We can be found in the Sustainable and Outreach Learning (Sol) Garden that is only one block away from the Lafarge Lake-Douglas Skytrain station. Just take a right on Pinetree Way and head towards the campus.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
We are only one block away from the Lafarge Lake-Douglas Skytrain station. Pay parking available on-site at $2.00 per hour or an $8.00 flat day-use rate. Students and employees of Douglas College have discounted rates with valid student or employee ID. Please see here for further details.

Can I update my registration information?
Yes. The event is free and open to all, so changes should not be an issue.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. We use tickets to determine the approximate number of attendees, but everyone is welcome.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay?
Yes, that is not a problem.
